Tips and Tricks for the perfect pancake breakfast board
Size
Choose the size of the board according to how many people you need to serve. Make the board abundant! Ensure there is enough for everyone to have seconds and more than enough of all the toppings so your guests know they can load up on anything they want.
Make ahead
Do as much of the work you can ahead of time. The night before, wash all of the berries and fruit. Prep all of the sauces, accompaniments, and spreads. Place them into small pitchers or bowls ready to arrange on the board the next day.
If you are making homemade you can even make pancakes or waffles the day before and reheat them in the oven before serving.
Options
Variety makes this board fun and appealing. Choose different types of pancakes like these strawberry pancakes, oatmeal pancakes, or classic fluffy pancakes. Think outside the box with waffles and crêpes.
Choose a variety of accompaniments from sweet to savoury so everyone will find something they love. Choose a variety of sizes like silver dollar pancakes.
