Ingredients
Tea – I used black tea for this recipe. This gives that classic iced tea flavour.
Lemons – Use whole real lemons for the best intense lemon flavour.
Honey – Real honey provides flavour, sweetness, with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial properties.

How to Make Honey Lemon Iced Tea
- Add 8 cups of water to a large sauce pot and bring to a boil.
- Cut three lemons in half and add them to the pot.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.


4. Remove from the heat. Add in 4 tea bags and 3/4 – 1 cup honey. Depending on how sweet you like your tea.
5. Cover and allow the lemon and tea to steep and cool. About 30 minutes.


6. Once cool, squeeze the remaining juice left in the lemons. Remove the left over lemon along with the tea bags.
7. Stir, then strain the liquid through a sieve into a large pitcher. Add ice to fill. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.

- 4 black tea bags
