How to make Lemon and Basil Spaghetti
Method
- Cook 1 lb package spaghetti in a pot of boiling salted water, according to the package directions. Or make fresh pasta here.
- In a large pan on low heat, add 3/4 cups lemon juice, 2 teaspoons lemon zest, 2 cups grated parmesan cheese, and 2/3 cup olive oil.


3. Whisk to incorporate everything together.
4. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Stir to coat and remove from heat.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Finely dice 1 1/2 cups fresh basil and toss into the pasta.
7. Serve immediately.
8. Garnish with more parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.

- 1 1/2 cups fresh basil, finely diced
- 1 lb packaged spaghetti noodles 500 g
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. Of make fresh pasta here.
- In a large pan on low heat, add lemon juice, lemon zest, cheese, and oilve oil.
- Whisk to incorporate everything together.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, stir to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Finely chop the fresh basil and toss into the pasta.
- Serve immediately.
