How to use homemade corn tortillas
These easy soft corn tortillas can be used just as they are from anything from tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. But they can also be cooked again for corn tortillas chips, tostadas, and taquitos.
Corn tortillas can also replace anything that you use for other flat bread or wraps.

Ingredients
Corn flour – Naturally gluten-free, this flour doesn’t need any time to soak or rest so you can use it right away.
Lime juice – Flavour
Chilli powder – Flavour
Water – Only water is needed to bind the ingredients together.
Salt – For flavour.

How to make soft homemade corn tortillas
- Preheat a pan to medium heat.
- In a large bowl mix together with a spoon or your fingers, 2 cups corn flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 ½ cups water, juice from 3 limes, and 1 ½ teaspoons chilli powder.
- Knead until you have a smooth tight dough ball.


4. Wet your hands and section off a small piece of dough (about 3-4 Tablespoons).
5. Shape into a sphere.
6. Using a long piece of plastic wrap, sandwich the dough ball inside.
7. Using a rolling pin or a press, roll into a flat tortilla shape.
8. For a perfect circle, use a small plate and cut the dough into a circle.


9. Gently remove the dough tortilla and cook 2 minutes on a preheated frying pan.
10. Flip and cook 1 to 2 minutes more on the other side or until just starting to brown.
11. Continue forming and cooking the rest of the dough until it is all used up.

- In a large bowl mix together with a spoon or your fingers, 2 cups corn flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 ½ cups water, juice from 3 limes, and 1 ½ teaspoons chilli powder.
- Knead until you have a smooth tight dough ball.
